Scarecrow Sightings

As a part of the 2008 Hoschton Fall Festival, we worked together to set a new World Record for the most scarecrows in one area.  Our goal was to have 4,000+ scarecrows within the Hoschton mailing area.

The Hoschton Fall Festival Committee and the Hoschton Women’s Civic Club hosted workshops on making scarecrows at several locations.  Thanks to their hard work we documented 5,441 scarecrows.  That's over 2,000 more than the previous record!

The scarecrows returned this year, though in smaller numbers.
